In today's hectic world, it's too easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and lose focus of what’s really important. Last Wednesday, beautiful friends Abi and Kylie gave us a sweet and tearful reminder on what Abi dubbed “Kylie Day.”
A Little Background
Abi and Kylie share an eleven year friendship that many of us are never so blessed to experience. They call it a "Soulmatch," a truly once-in-a-lifetime kind of friendship based on love, generosity and kindness.
It also happens that Abi has stage 4 cancer.
Kylie Day
Knowing that she will likely be unable to see Kylie walk down the aisle, Abi orchestrated a full day of bridal pampering just for her best friend. A day not about a significant other, but about "the special moments shared between best friends." Abi pulled out all of the stops for her bestie, enlisting Brandi, the wedding planner from her own wedding a couple short years ago, to coordinate the day, which included hair, makeup, photography, videography and dress shopping. Wow, what a friend?!
